  • How long does it take between ordering and delivery or pick up?

    We do our best to fulfil orders in 2 days depending on product availability. For example, if you order on a Tuesday by 1pm, we will bake it on Wednesday and get it to you on Thursday. Either way, you’ll get a notification when it’s ready to pick up or on the way!

  • How long do I heat my pies for if I bought them cold in-store?

    Most importantly, the core temperature of a pie should reach 75ºC prior to serving. We know oven times may vary so here is our guide to heating a standard pie; preheat oven to 180ºC, place chilled pies into oven upside down for 10 minutes (except for speciality tops), then flip them for a further 5 minutes.

  • Are your meats halal?

    Yes, absolutely. Our beef, chicken, lamb, fish, venison and any game ingredients we use are all certified halal.

  • I’m allergic to certain foods, how can I check for your known allergens?

    As well as baking delicious premium food that you keep coming back for, our top priority is food safety and ensuring everyone knows what they’re eating. We’ve put together an Ingredients, Allergens & Dietaries List so you can see what goes in before you put it in!

  • WHAT DO THE DIFFERENT SYMBOLS MEAN ON THE PIES?

    Due to Ray’s creativity and culinary experience we are proud to offer an abundant range of flavours and fillings. We top our pies with pastry shapes and symbols to help identify flavours. Sometimes it might not be a pastry symbol but a garnish or a finish, for example the Vegan Lentil Shepherd’s has the striking pumpkin mash potato piped on the top of the pie. We have a Pie-dentification Card which looks like this:

  • How do you prepare your products?

    We take hygiene and food safe practices exceptionally seriously throughout the full production and dispatch process. We are proudly HACCP certified and go above and beyond the standards mandated, to ensure full product traceability and quality control is maintained year-round. Our highly trained team all participate in taking accountability for the clean, safe, and correct production standards.

  • Can we freeze the product and how does it thaw?

    You can absolutely freeze our full range for up to 3 months. We strongly encourage you to thaw in the fridge before heating, as this will ensure the pastry remains flaky and robust when reheated.

  • What is the shelf life of your products?

    All products are dated and batched so please adhere to the packaging. Generally, our savoury baked products have a 7-day shelf life, with the exception of the family pies that each have 10-day shelf life. Our sweets range has a 5-day shelf life.
